  1. Bacon-wrapped water chestnuts are almost sure to be a hit with everyone. They are easy to eat and easy to make. Most recipes call for a half a slice of bacon wrapped around a water chestnut, secured with a toothpick and then baked or broiled for a bit.
  2. If your guests can handle a little heat, try stuffing halved and seeded jalapeno peppers with cream cheese and then wrapping with bacon. These are secured with a toothpick and broiled until bacon is cooked. They key to these hot little numbers is to wear gloves when seeding.
  3. may seem complicated, but they are actually very easy to make. In fact, you can make these and freeze them ahead of time so that all you need to do on the day of your party is reheat in the oven. To make mini quiches, simply cut 1.5-inch rounds out of your favorite piecrust, press into muffin pans and fill with your favorite quiche filling. Bake for about 20 minutes. Your guests will think you spent hours in the kitchen.
  4. Baked brie can be prepared many ways. Some like fruit sauce spread across the top, others like to cover it with a store-bought pastry for an added gourmet touch. No matter how you prepare it, baked brie is always a quick and easy appetizers for even the most elegant cocktail party.
